In addition
to the six Gulf Side Pavilions there are 5 other pavilions on
the Sound Side along with 4 covered picnics areas. The
small picnic areas are ideal for families with young children.
They are located on Santa Rosa Sound. Santa Rosa Sound lacks
the large waves and rip currents that may be encountered in the Gulf of Mexico. These small
picnic area's are very nice and have restrooms facilities
located adjoining the pavilion group. The names of the covered
picnic areas named left to right are: Starfish, Mackerel,
Pelican, and Red Drum.
